PDO Threads

What are PDO Threads

PDO Threads are fine threads made of polydioxanone (PDO) material that are inserted into the skin using a special needle. They are used to firm skin, reduce wrinkles, create a smoother texture and give the face a lifted, toned, refreshed appearance. The threads are inserted in multiple layers and can be combined with other treatments, such as dermal fillers or Botox, to provide skin tightening and wrinkle reduction. The results are long-lasting and can typically last up to two years or more.

What to expect after treatment

After smooth PDO threading to the face, you can expect results after 4 weeks, you’ll notice a more youthful and smoother appearance. Results can last 12-18 months, depending on the specific thread used and the individual's skin. Additionally, the procedure generates a natural regenerative effect on the skin, encouraging the production of collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid that can further enhance and extend results. Minimal to no bruising and swelling seen after treatment.
