Smile Line Filler

Smile line filler

Smile line filler is a type of cosmetic injectable used to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and folds in the skin around the nose and mouth. The product used contains a naturally occurring substance found in the human body called hyaluronic acid, which helps to restore hydration and promote volume in the skin. The product is delivered through a series of tiny injections into the smile lines, resulting in instantly stronger, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. The effects of smile line filler are temporary, and further treatments may be needed to maintain desired results.

How many sessions will I need?

The number of sessions needed for smile line filler will depend on the individual and the desired result. A typical treatment may involve one to two sessions, with yearly maintenance treatments needed to maintain results.

What to expect after treatment

Most patients experience immediate results after receiving smile line fillers and results typically last three months to six months, depending on the type of filler used. After having filler injected into the smile lines, you may experience light bruising, swelling, and/or redness in the area, but these should subside within a few days. You should avoid strenuous activities and direct exposure to sunlight, heat, or cold for the next 24 hours after treatment. It is also important to avoid applying makeup or any other product over the injection site for about 24 hours.
